This is the most important modification to the Meade SuperWedge for ease of use and precise control. The azimuth adjustment bar that comes stock with the wedge has too much backlash when doing a precise alignment. Replacing it with this longer piece not only gets rid of all the backlash but makes it smoother and easier to adjust.
